Aéropostale has tapped 15-year-old soccer phenom Cavan Sullivan, as its new brand ambassador. In addition to Aéropostale, Sullivan has deals with Adidas and Raising Cane’s. The young midfielder’s profile is on a steady trajectory ahead of his move to Manchester City when he turns 18.
Ronaldinho joins ownership group for USL’s Greenville Triumph and Liberty

Major League Soccer announced a partnership with OneFootball, a German digital media platform that covers soccer worldwide. OneFootball will use its video player network, which includes a Yahoo! Sports co-branded content center, to broadcast MLS highlights across all platforms. As a OneFootball shareholder, MLS will join Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and the German Football Federation on an advisory board.

Chicago Fire FC has appointed Gregg Berhalter as the Club’s new Director of Football and Head Coach, making him the 10th full-time head coach in the team’s history. Berhalter, with 30 years of experience, joins the Fire after leading the U.S. Men’s National Team to multiple trophies and a World Cup return. He will oversee all sporting operations, including the First Team, Chicago Fire FC II, and the Academy, starting after the 2024 MLS season.

The name and branding for Montreal's Northern Super League Professional Club are unveiled.
Women’s professional soccer continues to grow in the CONCACAF region as The Roses de Montréal, Montreal's professional women's soccer team, formally unveiled its name and brand. The final inaugural club in The Northern Super League, Canada’s new professional Women’s league, finally has a name and brand.
The rosette in the official Montreal logo served as a direct inspiration for the name ROSES. The almost legendary blue rose conjures up images of realizing your greatest dreams and accomplishing what appears to be unattainable. It echoes the hue of the fleurdelisé and calls back to the artistic character of the city.
