Welcome to Edition 47 of The Forty-One Life — This week, we’re going global. Neighborhood Sports Club held it down for the U.S. at La PAC in Paris, putting on for The Town on the global stage. Catarina Macario locked in a major bag with Nike, signing a 10-year deal that’s as scary good as her game. Mexico went back-to-back in the Gold Cup and we’ve got the pics to prove it. National teams across the African diaspora rep their culture, their people, and their pride, turning the city into a celebration of identity, community, and the game.
NSC repped The States as an invited guest and documented their journey along the way. You can see what they cooked up on their IG page.

USWNT’s Catarina Macario Joins “Scary Good” Lineup With New Nike Deal

Catarina Macario just inked a 10-year, $10 million deal with Nike—one of the biggest individual endorsement contracts in U.S. women’s soccer history. It’s a major co-sign for a player who’s already shaping the future of the game, and a clear message that Nike sees her as a long-term face of the sport. Big bag, bigger legacy in motion.
MORE MOVES
U.S. Soccer just teamed up with The Soccer Tournament (TST) to launch a new participation initiative through 7v7 competition. The partnership will create more pathways for youth, adult, and pro players to stay in the game and level up through high-intensity, short-sided formats. It’s a fresh take on development—faster, tighter, and built for the modern player.
