KITS

Nike x Snipes x PSG x ‘Dinho bring the 2004 T90 jersey back.

Paris Saint-Germain and Nike just brought back the cult-favorite 2004–05 Total 90 look, reissuing the jersey alongside a T90 tracksuit and white-and-red Nike Total 90 sneakers stamped with the PSG crest.  Club icons Pauleta and Ronaldinho front the rollout as SNIPES joins the celebration, with a tribute film and limited quantities available now through PSG and Nike retail.  The story continues on August 17 when PSG and Nike unveil a T90-inspired third kit for 2025–26.

MORE KITS

Drake’s NOCTA and Venezia FC just unveiled new goalkeeper jerseys for the “Home Ground” campaign, tapping into pure ’90s energy. The drop includes a gold home kit and a vibrant fuchsia away kit, with a campaign fronted by artist Fabrizio Plessi. The collection debuts August 16.

The Tampa Bay Rowdies and CHARLY dropped a one-off “Classic Kit” for Original Era Night—white base, bold Rowdies wordmark, retro ring collar, and a 50th-anniversary crest nodding to 1975. It’ll be worn this Saturday vs. Phoenix Rising on ESPN2, with a limited run available at The Bay Republic. Pull up early for 1975 team autographs, a photo with the original Soccer Bowl trophy, and free ’75 pennants while supplies last.

Detroit City FC unveils renderings for $150million stadium

Detroit City FC is locking in a permanent home, unveiling AlumniFi Field—a 15,000-seat, soccer-specific stadium in Corktown set to open in 2027. The site sits at Michigan Avenue and 20th Street, with construction targeted for late 2025 pending approvals, and it will be Detroit’s only privately owned and financed pro sports venue. AlumniFi is extending its partnership as naming-rights and front-of-kit sponsor, signaling big ambition and a long-term anchor for the club’s culture in the 313.

MORE MOVES

Comcast just made matchday easier. The new World Soccer Ticket puts 1,500+ games in one place across the Premier League, Champions League, LaLiga, Liga MX, Concacaf Champions Cup, NWSL, and more. It’s $85 a month and includes nearly 60 channels, including ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, Telemundo, FOX Deportes, Universo, and TUDN.

RFEF (Spain’s federation) just greenlit Villarreal and FC Barcelona to stage a league match at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium in late December. The game still needs approval from UEFA, Concacaf, FIFA, and U.S. Soccer. Villarreal would give up a home date and is looking out for its fans: season-ticket holders get free travel and a ticket, or a 20% discount on their season if they don’t go.
