F.I.L.A. - Forever I Love Atlanta (& Football): Atlanta’s Unique Opportunity In The Growing U.S. Football Culture & World Landscape

The A has been on its own growth trajectory over the last few years, particularly in the football space. The U.S. Soccer Federation has made Atlanta its official headquarters. There are grassroots organizations, like The Beautiful Game Project, and Soccer In The Streets, who have been working with the youth in the city for over 30 years providing free soccer for kids in the Atlanta area.

But as Atlanta gets more of a spotlight on it from the world’s football community, it’s important to ensure that Atlanta continues to take care of Atlanta.

The Process: Gabe Nava continues his exploration of Total 90

Credit: Gabe Nava

When Gabe Nava caught wind of Nike bringing back pieces from the iconic Total 90 era, his first thought was simple: “We are so back.” For the past year and a half, Gabe’s been on a mission—collecting everything from the T90 golden era. From iconic kits to tracksuits and training gear, if it dropped between 2003 and 2009, it’s on his radar. For Gabe, it’s more than just nostalgia; it’s about preserving a piece of football culture when the game—and the style—hit different.

THE BEAUTIFUL GAME

Clubeleven is going on a Soccer Odyssey

Our friends at Clubeleven are releasing their first print offering titled “The Soccer Odyssey”

The Soccer Odyssey started with one simple question: “What are the eleven stories that truly define American soccer today?” That journey took them from the hills of Turin to the streets of San Diego and even the legendary grounds of Churchill Downs. The result? A 140-page deep dive into the soul of the American game—eleven profiles capturing stories of self-discovery, struggle, and triumph that shape the sport’s culture. Dropping just in time for the 2026 World Cup, The Soccer Odyssey isn’t just a book—it’s a moment, cementing the heart of American soccer forever.

ON THE PITCH

Club América and adidas Reunite in Multi-Year Partnership

Club América and adidas are linking up once again, reigniting a partnership that first made waves in the ‘80s and ‘90s.  Starting from the 2025-2026 season, adidas will be the official kit supplier for Las Águilas, providing match and training gear across all teams within the club’s structure.

This collaboration not only underscores Club América’s iconic status in Mexican football but also highlights adidas’ commitment to the sport in the region. With 16 men’s titles and 2 women’s titles since the inception of the Women’s League in 2017, Club América continues to set benchmarks in the game.  Both organizations are poised to craft new memorable moments together, aiming to elevate the club’s presence both on and off the field.
